Landlord Responsibility |
Landlord responsibility usually refers to the rights the tenant has while renting a rental property. There are government agencies that have been created to help insure that renters have basic rights.
Some of the landlord responsibility a property owner has includes providing basic living conditions such has running water, hot water, pest free environment. Most landlocrd responsibility falls under the condition of the rental unit but other areas also include the renters right to privacy. A landlord can not enter the rental unit with out giving prior notice unless its an emergency such as water pipe broke. The landlord has the right to enter the rental unit, most states require a 24 hour written notice.
